Raising the barre

We are so excited to announce SDC's premiere benefit show, Raising the Barre. This has been a dream since Summit opened. We couldn't be prouder to use dance in a positive way to help our community. The show will consist of all of our Team and Crew Dances from the 2021-22 Season, plus a heartfelt speech from our benefactor representative, and a special piece that will only be performed at this show! SDC will be hosting a Donation Drive prior to the show. Sit back and enjoy the show as our Team and Crew dance their hearts out, and we raise money for our amazing benefactor; Camp Korey!

DONATION DRIVE

Not only are all additional proceeds from the show being donated to Camp Korey, but we will also be hosting a Donation Drive at SDC to help fill their Wishlists! Donating a physical item is a great opportunity to help educate your dancer on the importance of giving to others in need. Have them pick an item from one of the Wishlists and talk about what donating this item will do for the staff and campers at Camp Korey!

WHEN: April 25 - May 9, 2022

WHERE: There will bins right by SDC's front desk!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because of the myriad of allergies and safety considerations for campers, we kindly ask that donated items are exactly what appears in the links. This is especially important for food, paint, etc.

Camp korey's wishlists

"Have you ever wondered what it takes to power a magical place like Camp Korey? The answer is AMAZING PEOPLE, lots of time, and supplies! With year-round camp sessions and many events to host, we go through a ton of paint, shaving cream, balls and other supplies that our campers love and make their experience even better! Thanks to generous contributions from supporters like you, we are able to keep our shelves filled with supplies and our campers laughing and having fun with all our program has to offer! Each of your donations are tax-deductible (Tax ID 20-3829742) to the fullest extent of the law." -Camp Korey
