Laurie Perrault

Laurie McKarns Perrault is an educator, choreographer, teaching artist and Pilates instructor. She started dancing at the age of five and has trained with such notable teachers as Stanley Holden, Lupe Serrano, Stefan Wenta, John Magnus and Franco De Vita, as well as receiving scholarships to the National Academy of the Arts, San Francisco Ballet School and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She has performed with several ballet companies including Pacific
Northwest Ballet, and was a principal dancer with Southern California’s San Gorgonio Ballet Company. She has also had the opportunity to teach dance in California, Washington, New York and Uganda, and is fully certified in the ABT National Training Curriculum in all levels from Pre-primary through level 7 and partnering. Laurie has also trained with many world renowned Pilates masters including Marie-Jose Blom and Karen Clippinger. Laurie holds a B.S. in
Kinesiology from CSU San Bernardino and an M.A. in Dance Education from New York University.
