Gayle Leyde is the Co-Owner and Business Manager of Summit Dance Co. After getting an International Business degree from the University of Washington, she pursued a career as a marketing executive, and for the past 15 years she has been a business manager in the dance industry. Starting in 1991, Gayle became inspired by her four young daughters passion with dance and quickly found herself as the office manager and camp director of her children’s dance studio. Gayle loves the dance business and the children, and feels rewarded by making a positive difference in their lives. In 2000, Gayle founded a non-profit organization with her family, called Giving From the Heart. The program teaches youth how to give back to those less fortunate. It is an educational forum with extremely beneficial outcomes. The children who volunteer benefit equally, if not more, than those who receive. Summit Dance Co. will be the new home of Giving From the Heart community events and dance scholarships. Both Summit Dance Co. and Giving From The Heart are firmly rooted with family and friends. It makes for a lot of happy dancing! Gayle also enjoys spending time with her awesome and supportive husband, Kent. They love to travel, garden, hike, and especially spend time with their kids; Sarah, Amanda, Jon, Hannah, and Sami. Family Cabin time is always a favorite, too!
